Rainbow Assembly # 125

Greetings from Gilroy Rainbow

On behalf of Gilroy assembly, merry Christmas to our Masonic family!  We hope you have a lot of fun this holiday season and that the year 2010 will bring us all closer together.

We have had two meetings since I wrote our last article.  Our 4th meeting was on Nov. 24.  That was Mrs. Breuer’s Official Visit, so it was our chance to thank her for all she does for us.  Then On December 8, we had “Cheezy Game Show Night.”  We played Truth or Dare, Jenga and ended each turn with a squirt of spray cheese.  We love silly games!

I also had a chance to help out at Scottish Rite’s holiday party on December 5.  It was fun to do crafts with the kids, plus I love visiting with our sisters in San Jose.  Another big event that happened last Saturday was Mrs. Breuer’s reception.  She is State Mother Advisor for Grand Assembly 2010.  Her reception theme was, “Friendship: The Gift You Want to Return,” and her colors were pink and red.  We shared a delicious lunch together, and Mrs. Breuer gave us beautiful handmade ornaments.  Her two daughters were hostesses, and they told us all kinds of new things about our guest of honor we didn’t know.  It was a very memorable day.

Coming up is Cheyenne Horne’s reception for Grand Service in Santa Cruz (December 20).  Cheyenne has been to many of our meetings and has been so supportive of Gilroy Rainbow.  We are very excited about her reception.

And coming up in our assembly is caroling on 12-22 (meet 6:00 p.m. at Gilroy Masonic Center); our 7th Meeting, “Rainbow Bureau of Investigation” (7:00 p.m. at GMC); and my farewell meeting (7:00 p.m. at GMC).  Our next Installation will be on February 9 at 7:00 p.m. Mark your calendars!  We hope to see some of you there.

Rainbow Love,
Mandy Stanley, Worthy Advisor, Gilroy Rainbow Girls
