Greetings from the East
Brethren, a reminder that we will be working in advanced stations for our June stated meeting. If you intend to be installed as an officer next year, you will need to demonstrate the work during an upcoming degree, or to the Inspector, prior to Installation in December. It is necessary to have your proficiency vouched for prior to being installed in your office, for 2011. If you are unsure what is required of you, Please contact myself or the Officers’ Coach, BJ McCuiston, PM. Attendance at the monthly Inspector’s School of Instruction is also a requirement.
The Outdoor 3rd Degree will be held on June 19th, at Forest Ranch. Lodge will open at 9AM. This degree is scheduled a little earlier than normal, due to a conflict with the Grand Master’s schedule, which would definitely affect attendance to this event. Members of the California Masonic Posse have been asked to confer the degree. Salinas Masonic Lodge #204 has a peace officer candidate they hope will be ready by this time. Bring your dues cards. They will be inspected by the Tiler prior to admission into the lodge.
The Event committee appointed consists of Brothers BJ McCuisten (Degree), Bro Larry Connell and Bro Skip Bradbury, whom will assist with lodge preparations and family BBQ to follow. Rainbow & Eastern Star will assist with the BBQ preparation. The Bar-B-Q is a FAMILY event. Significant others and youth are invited to attend.
Ticket sales this year is $15 per person or $25 for two. All Masonic family members and friends are welcome! RSVPs to WM James Alexander jimmyboy@garlic.com by June 12th is necessary IF you plan to eat. The menu will be “Pulled Pork “Bar-B-Q” Southern Style.
Fraternally,
James P. Alexander
Worshipful Master
